Next time you want to complain, next time you want to bitch and moan about how hard your life is, about how you’re owed this and that and the other thing, think about what this man has sacrificed for your freedom. It’s men like this who keep this country free, regardless of the consequences to themselves. This man will never walk again, never hold his daughter, but he has already lived, at age 25, a more fulfilling and purposeful life than most of us ever will in 70 or 80 years.
